Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF)
The 14th annual Texas Wireless Summit (TWS) provides a forum on emerging technology and business models for industry leaders and academics. Hosted by the University of Texas at Austin’s Wireless Networking and Communications Group (WNCG), the Summit offers direct access to cutting-edge research and innovations from industry leaders, investors, academics and startups.
Through keynote and panel-driven discussions, leading business and technology executives and top academics share entrepreneurially-oriented research. This year’s theme focuses on how automated vehicles will re-shape wireless over the next 10 years with their demands for coordinated sensing and decision making. We’ll look at the benefits and requirements of connectivity, the key challenges of sensing at the vehicle, and at shared data analytics, such as sharing lightly-processed radar, lidar, and camera data.
