The Internet of Things extends its reach to all corners of the globe, and the Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF) is proud to be a global organization, with over 500 international members and regional forums in China, India and Korea.
Recently, OCF had the opportunity to participate in a podcast series with the Malaysia-based Global Entrepreneurship Movement Association (GEMA). The COLLAB series is a collaboration between OCF and GEMA’S eFM platform to explain how OCF provides the tools and resources to create proven IoT solutions that make secure, interoperable IoT a reality.
In the first episode, Device-to-Device, Device-to-Cloud and Cloud-to-Cloud Communications, OCF Marketing Communications Working Group (MCWG) Chair and Cascoda CEO Bruno Johnson shares his insights on OCF, device connectivity methods, and how to get involved.
Sai Prakash Belkeri recently interviewed C S Bhargava, convener of the OCF India Forum, for an episode of “The BelkIoT Podcast.” Mr. Bhargava introduced OCF and discussed the various IoT challenges OCF is aiming to solve. Links to the podcast on Apple, Spotify, and Google are available on our website.
OCF also hosted the IoT Open House on Monday, April 12, during the OCF Spring Members Meeting. This was a free opportunity for non-OCF members to learn about OCF’s mission, technology offerings, membership benefits, and more. Presented by OCF MCWG Chair Bruno Johnson, the session covered OCF’s vision for the IoT, OCF’s global scope and regional forums, IoT device connectivity methods, OCF Secure IP Device Framework overview, OCF technology benefits, and how to get involved with OCF. Watch the recording on our website to learn more.
Joining OCF is easy. Adopter Membership is free, and benefits include read-only rights for members-only materials and eligibility to seek OCF and UPnP certifications of products and services. Learn more about the OCF membership levels and benefits on our website.
