The OCF Ambassador Program is looking for a few good volunteers to spread the word about the Open Connectivity Foundation in their city.

As one of the largest IoT consortiums with more than 300 members OCF is making significant steps towards a connected ecosystem
Beaverton, OR. December 6, 2016 – The Open Connectivity Foundation (OCF), a leading Internet of Things (IoT) standards body, announced the addition of 68 new member organizations including Haier Group, LG Electronics and NETGEAR Inc., growing membership to more than 300 companies. As one of the biggest IoT consortiums, this surge in membership follows the announcement last month that OCF and the AllSeen Alliance merged under the OCF name and bylaws with the mutual goal of creating a common IoT standard.

The Chili2 module will be the first product utilizing OCF technology to feature an IASME gold certification badge, and represents a crucial step in validating OCF security on a global scale.
Realizing the many benefits of OCF’s Secure IP Device Framework, Cascoda implemented OCF-over-Thread technology on its Chili2 module to simplify the development of secure IoT products. First announced in November 2019, the Chili2 module offers built-in interoperability and security features for both smart home and commercial building applications.
